Geneviève Guindon, CPA, CMA, first completed a BACC in Agri-Food Economics and Management, at Laval University. She then went back to school to obtain her CPA designation. During this time she returned to the educational system,Ms. Guindon worked as a teaching intern: this mandate allowed her to win a first prize at the FLIPE competition at HEC de Montréal.
This same case was analyzed for the Entrepreneurship test, as part of the university and pan-Canadian competition for the game of commerce. She was also selected to represent Canada in the book: Female Entrepreneurship and the New Venture Creation: An International Overview, by Dre. Dafna Kariv, published in 2013. After the end of her studies, from 2007 to 2017, Geneviève held professional positions in accounting at Desjardins, a magnificent cooperative that allowed her to develop skills in work team management and internal knowledge sharing now, Geneviève is the mother of 3 school-age children. Although stimulated since they were very young, her 2 daughters have difficulty in math, which is not the case for her son. This resulted in ,in-depth reading on the subject and additional exercises each week for the 3 children, so that each could climb the ladder in mathematics and take up the job of their choice as an adult.
Geneviève also completed the Defi Montreal Numeric entrepreneurship incubator in November 2020. She is a member of EDTEQ (association of Quebec companies offering edutainment applications) and is part of the finance committee of the same association. She is also a member of the organization Synergie Montreal, with the aim of participating in the circular economy. Finally, she is not alone in this business Geneviève is supported by a solid team of consultants.
